Contact & Feedback
Use this form to report a calculation that looks wrong, suggest a tool, or offer to contribute.
Reporting a bug or wrong value
A report we can reproduce gets fixed fastest. Where it applies, please include:
- The tool or page you were using, for example the contrast checker or a HEX to OKLCH conversion.
- The exact color values you entered, the result you got and the result you expected.
- The source you compared against, such as a specification, a design tool or a browser's developer tools.
- Your browser and device, especially for layout, touch or drag problems.
Small differences in the last decimal place are usually rounding: tools round OKLCH, HSL and CMYK values to different precision. A difference in a HEX or RGB value is always worth reporting.
Suggestions and other messages
- When you request a tool or feature, describe the task you are trying to finish as well as the feature. It helps us fit the idea into the right tool.
- If something in the learning center is unclear or out of date, name the article and the passage.
- Teachers and course authors are welcome to link to or reference the tools and guides. Write to us if you need something specific for a class.
- For questions about how data is handled, including a message you sent earlier, choose General Feedback and mention privacy in the message.
Before you write
You may find the answer faster in one of these places:
- Every tool page has a how-it-works section and a list of frequent questions below the tool.
- The WCAG contrast guide and APCA vs WCAG explain why the two contrast checkers can disagree.
- What is OKLCH? covers why OKLCH values differ from HSL for the same color.
- The about page lists the standards each calculation follows.
We read every message and reply by email when a reply is needed, so please check that your address is typed correctly. HTMLColor is a small project and we cannot offer individual design reviews or accessibility audits.
